Displays the following control allowing the user to decide what component to use and to set tolerances for the connection.

SettingDescription
Join Method the following methods can be used to join the two pipe sections.
  • Elbow - Joins with an elbow/bend fitting for any angle.
  • Tee - Joins perpendicular and angled tee intersections with a tee fitting. Default tee fittings are selected from the available catalogs.
Tolerance Sets the allowable tollerance distnace between the centers of the two selected pipe segments. Centers must be within the allowable tolerance distance in order to be joined. If the distance between the centers of the selected components is greater than the allowed distance, the tolerance must be increased to successfully join the two.
Elbow Options When the Standard Elbow option is used, the following options lets the user define the elbow criteria to use when searching for the correct elbow to use to join the pipe segments.
  • Radius Type - Select the elbow radius from the list.
    • Long Radius
    • Short Radius
    • 3R
  • Place Trimmed Elbow - Click to place a trimmed elbow if necessary. Select from the following Stock Angles.
    • 90
    • 45
Bend Options When the Bend option is used, the user can define the following Pipe Bend Dimensions for a bend when used to join the pipe segments.
  • Radius Factor
  • Radius
  • Length to Bend
  • Length After Bend
  • Place Weld
